I'm having a hard time using this http://www.geniatech.com/pa/iGrabber.asp with windows 8 because, when I come to the installation screen I press install driver and nothing happens. Then I tried installing the driver manually but it says it didn't install properly. I go to delete it but it says there are no drivers installed for the device.
I'm new to the forums and don't know how to apply pics to show you my problem.
http://www.geniatech.com/support.asp If it were me I would use the provided support options in this link. It is their product.

Why when I go to the web page you provided and select 'System Requirements' It only lists MAC NOT Windows. What makes you think it works on Windows at all?

As Xhi said the system requirements only lists Mac but this, iGrabber USB Video Capture for Mac & PC
tends to make you think otherwise.

I still think I would check into the support page I linked to above. If it is only for Mac you will still probably need an RMA for a refund.
This looks the same as what you linked to it does state Mac and/or PC. http://www.meritline.com/mygica-igrabber-usb-2-video-capture-mac---p-38254.aspx
Alright so the device came with a windows installation CD.

The instructions advised I insert the disk first so I did. It read the disk then windows explorer opened to this.

So I opened Windows and then iGrabber_Windows_Installer and then I got this.

I clicked the first option the program minimized and nothing happened. I googled my problem and found a windows 7 fix and tried installing it that way. That's when I made the first Post. I plugged the device into the usb and it said there were no drivers installed.

If anyone knows of an adapter that is compatible with windows 8 I'd prefer to just try another adapter.

Driver hp laserjet 1022 mac os x. @warlock That was the windows 7 fix I downloaded the driver files from there. Installed the x64 version, it didn't work. So I tried the x86 version, it didn't work. I have a 64 bit computer. Also the x86 version installed something called my drv and a program started running.
